HOPE- Helping Other People Eat Information

HOPE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit seeking to provide sustained financial support for local food kitchens. “Helping Other People Eat” is a social business with a twofold process working to solve the problem of hunger by focusing on fighting hunger locally. First, HOPE will support local food kitchens by working with local restaurants and incorporating a $1.00 donation option into their customer receipts. 92% of all of those donations go straight into supporting local food kitchens. Second, HOPE requires each organization that we work with to go through our online certification course that educates the organization’s management and employees about the issue of hunger in their local community. The certification process also requires organizations to submit to semi-annual on-site visits by HOPE Representatives to ensure HOPE best practices are being adhered to.
