Honorarci is a young start-up company based in Belgrade, developing a unique internet platform for gig economy workers, freelancers and blue collars in Serbia and Balkan region. Platform came out of the rapid trend for self-employment and flexible work environment, while tackling this ever-existing problem of unemployment rate in the Balkan region, ranging up to 35% in some countries. In difference to global competitors Honorarci implement more local approach to this problem by targeting also professions that require local presence, as well as the remote workers. By connecting professionals that offer their services, knowledge and skills with their clients, we are creating the community for exchange of professional services, the most convenient and efficient way for both clients and freelancers. Business model involve premium membership package and promoted advertising services to the registered users, such as pinned, tagged or visually highlighted ads. Those digital products provide better visibility in categories and searches, thus more work arrangements, while users get return on the investment by getting just one more additional gig. Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, are our preferred markets that face the same problems, with estimated number of 4 million existing gig workers and professional freelancers.
