Homestead provides financial literacy classes, housing counseling for renters and homebuyers, foreclosure and mortgage delinquency counseling, reverse mortgage counseling, rental assistance, mortgage assistance and home repair assistance. As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Homestead operates a full-service Community Loan Center which is an employer based small dollar consumer loan program. Providing services in 10 Counties. We help clients understand their options and access to housing resources to help them make informed decisions. We are certified by the State of Indiana and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Department of Treasury as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI).
