Our program has been in existence since 1993 and has kept abreast of the innovations over the years that enhance each individual child's social, emotional, creative, physical and cognitive development. The philosophy in our program is that children learn best through play and exploring their environment freely. Our program offers an extensive art program which focuses on process art over product driven crafts. We value creative expression and we have an art fair each year to showcase each child's pride in their unique masterpieces. All family and friends of the child's family are invited to attend this event. We believe it is important to treat each child as their own unique being, to respect their temperament and personalities, their culture and religious beliefs, and their feelings. To help your child to feel at ease in our program we encourage you to provide key phrases, words, songs, stories, foods, and special family traditions that we can incorporate or share in our program. You should be completely comfortable and satisfied with the care your child (and you) are receiving. We also strongly believe that you know your child best and are their first teacher. Our role is to support you and we feel the best way to accomplish this is by working as a team with respect and compassion. Communication is the key to a very strong, long-term collaborative relationship.
