SJCS is different from other agencies. We are committed to providing services for people living with disabilities, and people experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and/or domestic abuse. We empower people to have a home of their own, to find gainful employment, to access community resources, and to live as independently as they can in their community. We believe in providing person-centered support designed around the unique goals of each person. Right now we support people in communities in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Delaware, Tennessee, and New York.

A K-12 independent school where a strong Christian Liberal Arts and Sciences education and a vibrant school culture create a community of learners and leaders.

Harvest Christian Academy (HCA) is a ministry of Harvest Bible Chapel, one church on multiple campuses in the Chicagoland area. HCA is located on 80 acres on the Elgin campus, 40 miles west of downtown Chicago. We are fully recognized by The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and accredited by AdvancED, Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and North Central Association (NCA). We are a member of the Northeast Athletic Conference (NAC) and we compete in Illinois High School Association (IHSA) 2A & 1A sports. We offer a wide range of college prep academic, fine arts and athletic programs in a vibrant Christian community.
