Reykjavik University (RU) is a vibrant international university located at the heart of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Our focus is research, teaching excellence, entrepreneurship, technology development and cooperation with the Icelandic business community. We have 4,300 students and a staff of 550 people.

Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrímsson was established in 1913. The first products were beers, but the company soon gained a reputation as a producer of a range of high-quality drinks. The operation has expanded gradually over the years, and now foods and drinks are imported, marketed and distributed alongside Ölgerðin’s own products.

The Iceland Academy of the Arts is comprised of five departments: the Department of Art Education, the Department of Design and Architecture, the Department of Fine Arts, the Department of Music and the Department of Theatre. In addition, the Academy operates a special programme within the Department of Music for secondary level students. Special sets of rules apply to this program.
