The holiday destination Engelberg-Titlis is located 25 km south of Lake Lucerne an hour's drive from Zurich in a high valley at an altitude of around 1000 meters. The village at the foot of the 3238-meter-high Titlis is an outstanding outdoor paradise: in summer, there are 500 km of hiking trails, several mountain bike trails, six via ferrata for every level and bouldering and climbing routes available. It doesn't get boring on the Alpcheese trail and the rustic Buriäbähnli safari, and for families, the spacious playgrounds at The Trübsee and the Mountain Lodge Ristis (Brunni) provide action. In winter the resort is known worldwide by freeriders and on piste skiers thanks to the high snow reliability and good snow quality. In addition to many attractions for individual visitors, Engelberg offers an extensive infrastructure for meetings, incentives, conventions and events.
