Founded in 1990 by Alex du Plessis, initial work was focused on assisting mining companies in the design and implementation of hydropower systems, and mining supply companies in developing value-add products and services for mining clients. Turgis has grown steadily over the years, focussing on providing clients with integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions to mining challenges. The company always sought to ensure that its work output was to the highest international standards.
