Holding Pattern (HP) is considered the independent and emerging artists’ viable alternative to world-wide music sharing platform Spotify, HP is carving its own path and in doing so allowing for the first time, never-heard-before artists of all genres to expose their music to the listening public and commercial buyers. By paving a movement for independent and emerging artists to promote, license and sell music on a global scale - HP’s sole purpose is to give power back to the artist, fans, creative’s and revolutionise the way people explore and discover music they've never had the opportunity to listen to before. HP provides a highly socialised environment where fans and artists interact, and commercial entities can buy/license music in an innovative and creative online marketplace. Our goal is to provide a much needed platform that will: - Expose the size and quality of music within the independent music community; - Provide a highly socialised environment, where fans, artists and commercial entities can buy/license music in an interactive marketplace; - HP champions artists by providing an 80% revenue share on all sales of music – a share far more advantageous to musicians than other music platforms elsewhere; - HP recognises the need to provide a new platform to better recognise the artists output and utilise the exponential growth of social media and “online” internet sales. HP wishes to support the art of creativity and improve its commerciality.
