Hold The Door For Others is a nonprofit organization inspired by the acts of bravery and kindness on 9/11. Hold The Door For Others was founded by the Fazio Family, who lost Ronald C. Fazio on 9/11. Mr. Fazio was last seen heroically holding the door for others so that they could get home safely to their loved ones. Inspired by his, and countless other stories of bravery and selflessness, Hold The Door For Others empowers people to grow through any type of loss and adversity and achieve their dreams. Hold The Door For Others hosts an annual workshop, Hold The Door Day. HTD Day is a free event that empowers attendees to grow through any type of loss and adversity (e.g., loss of a loved-one, cancer, divorce, affected by a natural disaster) by providing workshops and hands-on activities. Hold The Door For Others has developed resources such as Finding Your Way Through Sudden Loss and Adversity, Personal Growth Guide, an interactive CD-ROM, Gaining From Loss: Our Journey Continues, and more, which we provide free of charge to anyone who has experienced loss or adversity.
