KMC is a food ingredients company with humble origins and a proud history in Denmark - and big ambitions for a global future. Our broad portfolio of innovative and cost-effective ingredients embraces potato granules & flakes, native potato starch, a wide range of standard modified starches and application-specific solutions. Our solutions are used in cheese, confectionery, TVP, bakery, coffee whitener, dairy, mayos, low fat spreads, dressings, meat, noodles & pasta, snacks and soups & sauces – where high water binding and stable texture is required. Based on potato starch that is non-allergenic, gluten-free and GMO-free, our solutions offer a plant-based alternative to other food ingredients. We have specialised in replacing dairy proteins in imitation cheese, removing eggs from dressings and reformulating jelly candy without gelatine.
