The main application areas are crop forecasting, eco-hydrological modeling, meteorology, environmental databases and remote sensing. Besides being software developers we do audits and tests of third party applications. Our company is strong in international, trans-boundary projects with a main focus on Europe and Africa. Our customers include Dutch Ministries and research institutes (agriculture, water), United Nations organizations such as FAO and WFP, the World Bank and the European Union. At the moment Hoefsloot creates a financial Risk Management System for the World Food Program in Rome and New York, which aims at minimizing financial risks by offering timely insight into natural disasters in Africa.
