The Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) is a national organization advocating for Asian Americans (AAs), Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (NH/PIs) and the community health providers that serve them. We work in conjunction with our members and partners to offer programs and services that promote advocacy, collaboration, and leadership to improve the health of AAs and NHPIs. AAPCHO advocates for the health needs of AA and NH/PI communities through: • ADVOCACY: Serving as a unified voice of our membership, we share our collective knowledge and experience with policymakers to advocate for the continued support and growth of health centers that ensure AAs and NH/PIs have better access to affordable, high quality, and culturally and linguistically responsive health care. • RESEARCH AND DATA: We conduct research to advance the medical knowledge and increase the health care data on AA and NH/PI communities. • CAPACITY BUILDING: We provide training and technical assistance to health centers and partners to support excellence in care delivery.

HIFA (Healthcare Information For All) is a global social movement to improve the availability and use of healthcare information in low- and middle-income countries. It has around 20,000 members (health workers, librarians, publishers, researchers, policymakers...) from 180 countries worldwide committed to the progressive realization of a world where every person has access to the healthcare information they need to protect their own health and the health of others. HIFA has a number of online forums. These bring together HIFA members to explore ways to improve the availability and use of healthcare information. Currently we have HIFA forums in English, French, Portuguese and recently Spanish. We also have a special forum for Zambia and for child health and rights.
