Every week, more than 2 million passengers use the Copenhagen Metro, and the number is increasing day by day. Copenhagen currently has four metro lines. An extension of the M4 line northbound is under way, and we are planning a possible new fifth metro line to open in 2035. In addition, we are well underway with the construction of the capital's new light rail between Lyngby and Ishøj. The construction of both the current and future lines are projects of an international scale. LEGOLAND® er Danmarks største turistattraktion uden for København og kendt over hele verden. Siden begyndelsen i 1968 har LEGOLAND indbudt til sjove og hyggelige oplevelser for hele familien – med udgangspunkt i børn i alderen 2-12 år. LEGOLAND parkens succes er bygget af mere end 60 millioner LEGO® klodser og gennem værdierne kreativitet, kvalitet og sjov arbejder alle medarbejdere med et overordnet mål: At give alle parkens gæster en mindeværdig oplevelse. Siden åbningen i 1968 har mere end 50 millioner børn og voksne besøgt parken i Billund. I 2005 blev LEGOLAND parkerne og Hotel LEGOLAND en del af Merlin Entertainments, som er Europas største og verdens næststørste foretagende inden for besøgsattraktioner. Udover seks LEGOLAND parker og 10 hoteller ejer og driver Merlin blandt andet også SEA LIFE, Madame Tussauds, The EDF Energy London Eye, Heide Park og LEGOLAND Discovery Centres. LEGOLAND og Hotel LEGOLAND er en speciel arbejdsplads på flere måder, men et af de mest fremtrædende træk er, at medarbejderne gerne bliver i mange år, og mange ”LEGOLÆNDERE” taler om en næsten familiær stemning kollegerne imellem. ARKEN lies like a stranded ship a stone's throw from Køge Bay and is beautifully placed in the surrounding beach park. The building, which is one of the most distinctive edifices of the 1990s, definitely merits a visit in itself. Inside visitors can enjoy internationally rated art exhibitions and a permanent exhibition, which contains Danish, Northern and international art from 1990 onwards, including works by the controversial British artist Damien Hirst and the German rising star Anselm Reyle. ARKEN also has a wonderful museum shop packed with interesting design articles and a café, where visitors can enjoy the chef’s delicious food.
