HIXSON PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY, PLLC Information

Having spent my earlier years residing in Nashville, Tennessee, I graduated from Father Ryan High School and later attended Tennessee Tech. I graduated from TTU in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. I then attended University of Tennessees college of Dentistry where I received my DDS degree in 1991. Following my graduation, I joined the Air Force for 3 years and moved to Chattanooga shortly after in 1995. I happily joined Dr. Mullinax in 2000 and together we created Hixson Dental Group. I have been on the board of the Chattanooga area dental society for over 5 years, most recently being President of the board. I married my college sweetheart over 31 years ago and together we have three outstanding children. Outside of the office, I enjoy watching college football, traveling with my family, and playing drums! A Chattanooga native, I graduated from the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I later felt a true calling to a career in dentistry from witnessing a patient gain renewed confidence after he lost all of his teeth due to substance abuse and received implant-supported dentures. I received my DDS degree from Loma Linda School of Dentistry located in California. I proudly graduated with a clinical ranking of #1 out of 137. I am so excited to be a part of Hixson Dental Group! I am deeply committed to attending Continuing Education seminars and lectures all over the world in order to best care for the ever-evolving needs of my patients. I am looking forward to continue learning from my mentor and partner, Dr. Larry Mullinax, who is a pioneer in the field. I reside in St. Elmo with my wife Stacey, and son Jad. I love to be outdoors with my family, whether it be hiking, or camping. I also enjoy recording music and leading worship at my local church. I have proudly been practicing dental hygiene for over 25 years, 20 of those years having been right here in Chattanooga! I love what I do and strive to make each patients visit a pleasant ...
