Himalayan Rescue Association Nepal (HRA) was established in 1973, This year 2013 is 40 years of the establishment of HRA. Therefore HRA organized a 40th anniversary ceremony at Hotel Radisson Lazimpat, Kathmandu on 30th August 2013 (2070.5.14). Chief Guest, Rt. Honorable Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi, Honorable Minister Ram Kumar Shrestha, Ministry of Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation, High -ranking officials from various diplomatic missions, High level Government officials, Chairmen of various tourism related Associations, Members of HRA, well wishers of HRA and Journalists attended in the program. Chairman of HRA Mr. Santa Subba welcomed all the guests. he Chief Guest, Rt. Honorable Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi inaugurated the program by lighting on Panas. t the same time Rt. Honorable Regmi unveils the 40th anniversary SOUVENIR magazine. Rt. Honorable Regmi provided the Plaque of Honor to the diplomatic missions in Nepal who generously provided financial and other support to HRA for humanitarian Cause as well as the Past Chairmen, individuals and doctors who contributed their invaluable service to HRA.
