HillsEditor Services is an independent IT consulting practice founded in 2002 and incorporated in 2020, based in the Baltimore, MD area. Since 2023, the practice has focused on applied AI, containerized development, and infrastructure modernization: self-hosted server infrastructure for AI prototyping, Linux environment hardening against security scanning baselines, and Python-based automation tools and internal prototypes. Earlier engagements delivered through HillsEditor include backend development, systems integration, and CMS/web platform work supporting federal digital modernization programs (including the Departments of Transportation and Treasury), as well as web development and small-business technical support dating back to the practice's 2002 founding. HillsEditor is available for independent consulting engagements on a corp-to-corp (C2C) or 1099 basis, with a focus on Python, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD automation, and applied-AI prototyping.
