Hillmorton Design & Development Information

Hillmorton Design & Development is a UK software and web development studio. We design and build custom websites, web and mobile apps, operations platforms, and booking and payment systems, end to end. We were founded by Ethan Saunders (Co-Founder & Lead Developer) and Chris Healen (Co-Founder & Director). When you work with us, you work directly with the people designing and writing the code. There are no account managers or agency layers. We're a remote-first team, and we bring in freelance specialists for individual pieces of work where a project needs them. The founders stay accountable throughout. Our background is rail and safety-critical software, and we bring that standard to every sector we work in: rail, fleet and logistics, field services, beauty and wellness, community organisations and retail. Our own products include GuardianOS, a field-operations and lone-worker safety platform for rail, and FluxTrackOS, a multi-tenant fleet tracking platform. Client work includes Railshine, Beauty & Bronze, Aurea Properties and the Hillmorton Branch Railway. We build with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Flutter and PostgreSQL, and set up infrastructure in the client's own name so they keep control of what we build. We work with clients UK-wide, and across Europe where a project requires it. All work is quoted and invoiced in GBP.
