Hildred Capital Partners, LLC is a family investment firm that invests in a broad range of securities, including equity and debt, across geographies and sectors, on both an active and passively managed basis. Hildred has a particular interest in private equity, including situations where the principals can apply their extensive management experience to help a company reach its full potential. Hildred takes an opportunistic approach to sourcing and investing, looking at investments with the potential for strong returns in an appropriate, risk-balanced manner. The principals have extensive experience in several areas including healthcare, finance and banking, real estate and entertainment and media. However, investments also will be made in other sectors. Hildred is especially interested in private equity opportunities where the principals can be actively involved at the Board level or, if appropriate, take an active role in management, utilizing their many years of strategic and operational expertise and board experience. The principals at Hildred have spent several decades building and managing Forest Laboratories, a major international pharmaceutical company, which was acquired by Actavis in 2014 for approximately $28 billion. Hildred's private equity currently includes investments in regional banks, real estate, energy, and a broad array of healthcare-related companies, including services, technology, IT and pharmaceutical oriented businesses. Investments typically range from $5 million to $50 million, though both larger and smaller opportunities will be considered. Hildred manages its own capital, and is also open to co-investment opportunities. When appropriate, both debt and equity capital can be raised from outside sources. Hildred Capital Partners is headed by Howard Solomon, former CEO of Forest Laboratories and David Solomon, the former Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & Strategic Planning at Forest Laboratories. They are joined by Andrew Goldman, who previously held financial management positions at several investment firms, and Anthony Gerrits, formerly at Neuberger Berman. Hildred was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in New York City.
