Hikayati Information

Hikayati is an Arab publishing house whose mission is to change the way parents and children engage with books in the early childhood years. We specialize in high quality, culturally relevant wordless picture books for children from birth to six years of age. We strongly believe in the need for wordless picture books in every Arab child’s home library because they invite a greater level of interaction between parents, children and books. You don’t read a story, you tell a story using language that is relevant to the two of you. Hikayati was founded in July 2015. In September of the same year, it received seed funding from Oasis 500, a business incubator based in Amman, Jordan, under its Creative Industry Track.
