Our spirit for adventure was born in New Zealand, our home. What started as a few passionate hikers guiding friends off the beaten track in New Zealand has grown to meet our guests' desire for our unique style of outdoor adventure tours around the world. Today our trips feature not only hiking but rafting, kayaking, ziplining and so much more, with unique itineraries in 19 countries across five continents, including destinations such as New Zealand, Patagonia, Peru, Galapagos Islands, Europe, the Himalayas, and Africa. While New Zealand is still our home base, these days we have a passionate team of locals in every destination to make our guest experiences truly special. At Vista Ventures Social Impact Fund, we back social entrepreneurs in East and Southern Africa through strategic support, investment readiness, and catalytic capital with a focus on ventures who provide goods and services that expand economic opportunities and improve environmental sustainability. We partner closely with entrepreneurs to strengthen their capacity for investment and long-term growth. Alongside hands-on mentorship and practical advice, we sometimes offer small catalytic investments to help businesses reach key milestones, whether that’s expanding market access or attracting follow-on funding. Vista Ventures operates on an invite-only basis, connecting with entrepreneurs through trusted referrals and networks. Entrepreneurs typically seek support to grow their business, often beginning with a need for financing. Through a relationship-focused vetting process, we assess alignment with our values, eligibility, and readiness for investment.
