UC Riverside’s Formula SAE Team is one of FSAE’s strongest up and coming contenders. As a first-year team in 2014, we accomplished building a working vehicle, passing full technical inspection, and competing with top caliber universities including Cornell, Michigan-Ann Arbor, Texas-Austin, and numerous others at the Lincoln competition in 2015. Placing top 50th at the Electric Competition in 2023. Now we aim to enhance our program by building an electric vehicle with podium potential for 2024. Close to UC Riverside students, from a multitude of engineering, science, and business disciplines make up the 2024 FSAE team. Each student brings their own crucial skills to the team, including mechanical design, electrical design, business, and fabrication. This diversification, along with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication, is what makes the core of UC Riverside FSAE.
