What began as an idea between friends has grown into a beloved local brand with locations across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. While we’ve grown, our mission has remained the same: to be local, and always will be.
Our concept blends approachable, casual dining with a strong commitment to quality. Every dish is prepared in-house, our menus evolve seasonally, and our extensive draught beer lineup showcases local brewers and regional favorites. We also take great pride in being one of New England’s most allergen-friendly restaurant groups, offering thoughtfully marked menu options and rigorous kitchen protocols to ensure guests with dietary needs feel welcomed, safe, and supported.

Clover Food Lab is a restaurant chain founded by MIT alum and environmentalist Ayr Muir. Clover's mission is to address global warming by building a better food future. With the help of raving fans, it has expanded from a food truck in 2008 to 11 restaurants serving thousands daily in the greater Boston area.
We clean. We chop, cook, season. We make friends of our customers. We clean some more. It sounds simple, but what we’re doing is something beautiful and new.
We source from local farmers to an unbelievable level, far more than anybody in our industry. And that keeps dollars in our community. We treat our food with respect, much of it is organic, we use no chemicals to flavor or “enhance” our food, no preservatives, minimal added fat and sugar and salt, no freezers. And that means our food improves the health of our customers. We want food to taste the way it should.
