The Company is involved in the design, development, manufacture and sale of a unique line of specialized pollution control boats for use on lakes, rivers, harbours, inland waterways and coastal shorelines. The company's manufacturing facilities are registered to ISO 9001:2000 and are located in Brockville, Ontario . Hewitt manufactures four models ranging from 36 to 66 feet in length. These boats, referred to as the ROVER, can handle a variety of environmental clean-up problems including debris and hydrocarbons. The Rover line of environmental boats are extremely reliable, employ superior technology and are considered amongst the most efficient marine pollution control boats available today. The following features are offered either as standard or optional equipment: Oil skimmer and separator for the cleanup of oil or other hydrocarbons; Floating debris cleanup system; Deweeding system; Water aeration and oxygenation system; Water cannon for dislodging debris, cleaning along piers and shorelines, or for disbursing chemical agents for cleanup operations.
