Constellation Program 2025–2030: a more vibrant Centre Pompidou than ever!
→ The iconic building in the Beaubourg district of Paris closed its doors in autumn 2025 for renovations that will allow it to return, by 2030, to its original utopian vision.
→ At the same time, the spirit of the Centre Pompidou is being brought to life in many partner venues across France and internationally, thanks to the ambitious cultural program Constellation.
→ In spring 2027, a new conservation, exhibition, and creation hub will open in Massy, in the Essonne region: the Centre Pompidou Francilien – an art-making hub. It will be previewed from October 2026 during three festive weekends!
Our mission is to increase the public’s enjoyment and understanding of art.
When Tate first opened its doors to the public in 1897 it had just one gallery, displaying a small collection of British artworks. Today we have four major galleries and the national collection of British art from 1500 to the present day and international modern and contemporary art, which includes nearly 80,000 artworks.
Tate is a public institution owned by, and existing for, the public.
The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam houses the world's largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890), featuring masterpieces such as Sunflowers, Almond Blossom, Wheatfield with Crows, and The Bedroom.
Furthermore, the museum collection of works by Van Gogh’s contemporaries features countless significant pieces by artists including Paul Gauguin, Camille Pissarro and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and an extensive print collection.
