Les métiers du LNE s’orientent autour de deux objectifs : la souveraineté technologique et la sécurité des citoyens. Ses travaux de recherche constituent le socle sur lequel s’appuient 5 métiers : la métrologie, les essais, l’expertise, la certification et la formation. Le LNE accompagne les industriels et soutient les pouvoirs publics pour favoriser l’émergence de nouvelles technologies. LEIA, MELODI, MATIS, CARMEN...
