Hertel Planning is a small and nimble Toronto-based city planning firm. We help our clients create and carry out plans for land use, housing, and transportation. We work at all scales—regional, city, town, neighbourhood, corridor, and block—and across a range of disciplines. We want to be known for: • Putting people first: at the heart of it, planning is about people: we need to hear what people tell us needs to be fixed, and then make sure that our work helps. • Thoughtful analysis: we think things through, letting the unique opportunities and challenges of each project guide our approach. • Clear communication: we tell it like it is, and how it can be, in a way that can be understood by pretty much everyone. • Useful advice: we believe that a plan is good only if it can be followed and achieved. If you can’t get there, then there’s no point.
