HERSRaterLA is a California Energy Commission (CEC) certified (2005-2016 standards) and insured special inspector. We serve the greater Los Angeles area and provide independent field verifications on residential and light commercial projects. Since October 2005, residential and occasionally commercial air ducts must be tested for leaks when a central air conditioner or furnace is replaced or newly installed. As of July 2014, HERS field verifications are required for all residential air ducting and, in most of the Los Angeles area, refrigerant charge and minimum air flows also need checking. View Services
