HerScan, Inc, is led by Director Mary Jo Henderson, a graduate of the University of Nebraska, Omaha NE. Ms. Henderson has over 30 years of medical imaging experience with specialties in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, Radiology, and Cardiac Imaging systems. She began her career as an executive with medical imaging giants, Thompson CGR and Toshiba Medical Systems. As a highly recognized executive and advanced diagnostic imaging specialist, Mary Jo was very aware of just how much more was needed to be done in the area of Preventative Medicine with these technologies. In 1993, Ms. Henderson founded Life Line Screening, Inc., a Preventative Medical Company that provided easy access to mobile medical screening services directly to the public. Within 5 years Life Line grew to become the largest Mobile Vascular Ultrasound company in the USA. Currently, Life Line offers its medical ultrasound screening services in 45 states, the UK and Australia. After selling Life Line, Ms. Henderson continued her mission to provide Fast, Affordable, and Convenient access to important Ultrasound technology. Today, Ms. Henderson owns and operates HerScan LLC. a mobile Breast Ultrasound Screening company, headquartered in Belleair Bluffs, FL (Tampa Bay Area), that shares the mission of providing much-needed access to preventive healthcare services. HerScan operates in 15 states and has scanned over 62,000 women since 2014.
