Woolwich Polytechnic is a school that prides itself on demanding the highest standards from students and staff alike. We have a pastoral care system that is second to none that supports a 'no excuses' culture for behaviour and achievement. Described by Ofsted as "Outstanding", in 2016 the school once again achieved superb GCSE results: 73% of students achieving 5 A*-C grades (including English and Mathematics) against a National Average of 53% (and a National Average for boys of 47%!). Out of the 55 Similar Schools on the DfE School League Tables website, Woolwich Poly ranks number 1 by 4% points - a wonderful achievement of which we are extremely proud.
