Hero Motors is part of the HMC group, a diversified conglomerate with interests in automotive components, E-Mobility, cycles, real estate and premium retail, with the group revenue of USD 700 million in 2023. The automotive businesses of the group comprises mainly of 5 business verticals. The verticals Gears & Transmission, Bike Powertrain & Sheet Metal are part of Hero Motors. The other two verticals, Chassis Systems and Brake Discs & Drums are part of separate Joint Venture companies. Munjal Kiriu Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. was incorporated in partnership with Kirui Corporation, a Sumitomo Group company, with a vision to lead the manufacturing and supplying Brake Disc & Brake Drums segment in India. Its JV with Hewland Engineering Limited, Hero Hewland is a single point source for design to high volume manufacture with international cost competitiveness, Hero Motors takes pride in its consistently high levels of on time delivery and single digit PPM quality standards. This has enabled us to grow and strengthen our partnership as supplier with some of the globally renowned premium brands like BMW, Harley Davidson, Ducati and Textron. CVT hubs are manufactured in its Bike Powertrain division leverages pioneering planetary technology and are widely used in premium E-Bikes, globally. The sheet metal parts are supplied at high volumes, high quality and optimized cost.
