HerMission Information

HerMission is a nonprofit organization that began in 1874 through women in Virginia with a heart for missions. Formerly known as WMU of Virginia, we’ve grown from a legacy of faithful women to a movement that equips the entire church to live on mission. We cultivate leaders and mobilize the church to live out the gospel in everyday life. Through training, events, resources, and relational networks, we partner with churches, individuals, and communities to expand their impact locally and globally. Together, we’re building a culture of leadership, collaboration, and service that advances the work of the Kingdom in every generation.
