We have all had pets since we can remember, we made our first steps with them and shared our lives with them with pleasure. And fed them in all sorts of ways. But the undeniable fact is - since our dogs tried BARF (some lucky ones before, and some a bit later) nothing tasted as good anymore. And we saw that this food was good for them, they enjoyed eating it (the smell of BARF was sometimes a bit difficult to get used to, but for the sake of their love it was never difficult to stand a couple of minutes of the smell that might not be the finest in the world...). And most importantly - we watched their hair become shinier, their life force increase, teeth become whiter, they had an optimal digestion, as well as stool...best described as not loose and watery anymore, but firm and easy to scoop. We have created our product on the basis of our long-term life experience with dogs and their diet - both in theory and practice. The product of uncompromising quality. The one with which we would feed our pets, who are, without exaggeration, equal family members. Because...we are, first of all, "dog people". The basis of Hermann's products are the recipe and experience of Hermann Palmer, the father of modern Doberman. His Dobermans won numerous championships and they were everything we want our dogs to be - healthy, long-lived and beautiful. In his basement, in the 50-ies of the last century, he would prepare meals for his dogs - natural, raw, healthy. Perfect in the way only nature can make them. Hermann did not believe in processed food, he thought his dogs deserved more and better than that. He believed that dogs need meat and bones as the basis of their daily meals. He got the award from the Bavarian government for the results in dog breeding achieved through nutrition (twice: in 1969 and 1972).
