Heritage Park Museum Information

Heritage Park Museum is a community heritage site showcasing the early European settlement history of Terrace and its surrounding region. Eight authentic log buildings demonstrate pioneer building techniques, and a collection of 6000 artifacts highlight the local history of mining, forestry, and agriculture. An open post-and-beam wagon shed, a post-and-beam artifact storage shed, a miniature replica schoolhouse and a functional replica blacksmith shop complement the original buildings, offering a rare glimpse into the social, industrial, and economic life of Terrace in the early years of the last century. In addition to serving as a museum and historic site, Heritage Park Museum hosts community celebrations and events throughout the summer.
