Beef Australia is a week-long exposition that engages all facets of the Australian Beef Industry and is held triennially in Rockhampton, Queensland.
In 2018 the event celebrated its 30th year and 11th Expo, with record attendance of over 100,000 cementing its position as the leading event of its kind in the southern hemisphere.
Staged in Australia’s Beef Capital Rockhampton in Central Queensland, the beef expositions have become an icon international event for the Australian beef industry and a major regional event for the state.
The next Beef Australia exposition will be held 5-11 May 2024.
The association is the voice of the Wagyu breed in Australia representing the membership. It has responsibility for the registration and DNA verification of the breed. Genetic tools are developed for improvement of the breed, the reputuation of the Wagyu brand is protected, and science is promoted and evaluated with respect to the Wagyu industry.
