At HerTech Connect, we are committed to advocating for women students and women reentering the technology field by creating intentional spaces for connection, mentorship, and opportunity. This grassroots initiative is led by a passionate team of students and professionals, working together to bridge the gap between aspiring talent and industry leaders in Calgary’s tech ecosystem. Our mission is to: 1. Connect women with inclusive organizations and hiring professionals 2. Facilitate impactful networking experiences 3. Empower students and career re-starters with resources, role models, and opportunities to thrive in tech Each fall, we host our flagship in-person event, welcoming up to 300 participants, including post-secondary students in computer science or technology-related programs and women seeking to reenter the workforce. This signature event offers: - Direct engagement with Calgary-based companies and recruiters - Opportunities to hear from industry leaders on emerging tech trends and career pathways - A supportive environment to build meaningful, long-term professional relationships HerTech Connect is more than an event, it’s a movement powered by community, collaboration, and the belief that diverse voices belong at the forefront of innovation.
