Her Economy is a business and lifestyle platform for the career-minded woman. From business and finance, luxury style and beauty inspiration, to health and wellness advice, we’re the online space we always wanted but couldn’t find. Our founder Ashlee envisioned a space where she could combine her love for business, fashion and lifestyle journals with her love for the internet and tech. Between 2012 - 2015, while starting her career and completing her Masters in HR she couldn’t find an online publication that covered all of her interests, so she decided to make one herself. She wanted something to exist for women like her (Indian born, Australian raised); that represented the increasing influence young women were having on the world as consumers, members of society and professionals. With over a decade of experience spanning human resources, management consulting, technology, and fashion, collaborating with global firms across media, finance, engineering, and retail, Her Economy takes Ashlee’s learnings and aims to educate, empower and embody the lifestyle of the career-minded woman.
