Nestled within the heart of Central Park, Tavern on the Green is a legendary New York City landmark offering timeless hospitality and refined American cuisine. Originally designed by Calvert Vaux and built in 1870 to house the park’s sheep, Tavern on the Green has welcomed presidents, royalty, artists, and visitors from around the world since opening its doors as a restaurant in 1934.

We are a a seasonally-inspired, full-service bar and restaurant highlighting our favorite method of cooking: the grill. We feature 16 taps with all local craft beer as well as local wine and alcohols. The Grill House is known for having one of the Bay Area's best burgers as well as fall off the bone ribs. We specialize in sourcing locally from the kitchen to the bar. We offer flexible and custom catering and can host parties of up to 100 people. Contact us today for a free price quote.
