We build highways, provide drivers licenses, protect our children and vulnerable populations, create jobs, connect Hoosiers to job opportunities, maintain state parks, train law enforcement officers, and we run museums and hospitals. Tipmont REMC is the fifth largest member-owned electric cooperative in Indiana serving over 22,000 members in parts of eight counties in west-central Indiana. Part of the national alliance of Touchstone Energy cooperatives, Tipmont focuses on the core values of integrity, accountability, innovation, and commitment to community. Established in 1939, Tipmont is headquartered in Linden, Indiana, located 15 miles north of Crawfordsville (home to Wabash College), 20 miles south of Lafayette and West Lafayette (home to Purdue University), and 50 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
