Established in 1954. Hendricks Pharmacy is family-owned and operated. We have a complete inventory of prescription and non-prescription medication with a huge selection of gifts, souvenirs, personal care products, & medical supplies. *We have an International Travel Health Clinic that provides comprehensive pre-travel health information and counseling for individuals traveling overseas. We can also administer all necessary and required vaccines and provide the appropriate medications prior to your departure. *We have special licensed pharmacists who can provide birth control without a prescription from a doctor. In 1954, Carlton W. Hendricks established Hendricks Pharmacy in downtown Claremont on Yale Ave. Under his ownership, the store occupied about 6000 square feet with many departments, including cosmetics, toys, and gifts. With emphasis on personal service, Mr. Hendricks operated the pharmacy until 1986. In 1996, Hendricks Pharmacy relocated to the current location on Harvard Ave. Keeping with the concept of personal service, the new pharmacy was built with a completely private consultation room adjacent to the pharmacy filling area. The current owner, Dr. Brian Garner, acquired the pharmacy in 2003. With the continued emphasis on personal service, Dr. Garner has added many services to Hendricks Pharmacy, such as free delivery service, internet refilling, automatic refills, blister packing, vaccinations, and health screenings. In 2014, the store expanded to an adjacent suit and was completely remodeled to increase the product selection.
