Helping Wing Information

HelpingWing (www.helpingwing.com) was inspired in 2011 by heroic stories of volunteer pilots helping relief efforts during the devastating Queensland floods. Our core mission is to improve the quality of life of the Australian community through our passion of flying. To lend a HelpingWing We are a portal that connects volunteer pilots to the missions. These missions may vary from giving wings to a terminally ill patient through a joy flight over Sydney Harbour or ferry needed supplies to a remote community. All flights are free as our volunteer pilots generously donate their time, skill and the cost of fuel/aircraft towards our cause. Private donations may partially reimburse the pilots of some of their costs.
