Helpcity is a free app against loneliness from Cologne. It helps you find people for real conversations and deeper friendships. It's not about networking or finding activity partners, but about friendships with room for the difficult things too. Loneliness doesn't only affect older or isolated people. Many people between 20 and 35 have a job, studies and a full calendar, and still no one they can be honest with. That's who we built Helpcity for. Helpcity is not therapy or counseling. It is a peer network where people support each other as equals. Paul Schonnebeck founded Helpcity after seeing, as a nurse, how many people are alone at the end of their lives. Today he develops the app together with co-founder Stefan. Since 2020, more than 25,000 people have signed up without any paid advertising. The average session lasts 37 minutes, and more than 95% of conversations are rated positively. Coverage includes ZDF, SWR, Stern, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Arte. We develop loneliness prevention programs for municipalities, health insurers and employers. Feel free to reach out. For iOS and Android: helpcity.de
