Helm Tool develops ideas and visions into market-ready, finished products. From start to finish, the entire process can be completed from within the walls of our company. We do the complete job in the shop! Made in the US! We currently specialize in cutlery; however, our portfolio includes products from many other industries including food and dining, automotive, electronics, and FMCG (fast moving consumer goods). Examples of molds in these industries include lids and other closure molds, various containers, plates, and other specialty parts. In addition to these trades, we have a history of innovation and are always looking to help partners in new industries to succeed. Helm Tool has years of expertise with injection molds and die cast dies. Our molds range from sampling prototypes to 2x96 (192 parts per shot) cavity production molds which produce quality products at high speed. Helm Tool has the experience, machines, talented workforce, and reputation for creating and producing high quality products. We work closely with many partners from different fields and always guarantee an exceptional product, from vision to market, at any time. Helmut Mueller founded the Helm Tool Company in September of 1977 and continues to serve as the company’s president. Helmut studied machine building and engineering in Germany prior to his immigration to the United States. This instilled the company’s approach to high-quality and innovative engineering in the designing of tools offering the best and the most economic solutions for customers. Helm Tool has grown to become one of the finest tool manufacturing companies in the greater Chicago area and has earned a national reputation of pioneering high speed machining and high-cavitation tools.
