The Wagner family comes from a long line of grape growers and winemakers, with a history in Napa Valley dating back to the 1850s. In 1972, Chuck Wagner started Caymus Vineyards with his late parents, Lorna and Charlie Wagner Sr., establishing Caymus Cabernet as one of the region’s most celebrated wines. Today, Caymus remains entirely family-run, and two of Chuck’s children, Charlie and Jenny Wagner, work alongside him. Together, they are proud to offer a wide range of varietals under different labels.
Joseph Phelps Vineyards is committed to crafting world class, estate-grown wines. Founded in 1973 when Joe Phelps purchased a former cattle ranch near St. Helena in the Napa Valley, the winery now controls and farms nearly 375 acres of vines on eight estate vineyards in Napa Valley. In 1999, Phelps added 100 acres of vineyard property near the town of Freestone on the Sonoma Coast, where Phelps grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Phelps is best known for its flagship Napa Valley blend of red Bordeaux varieties, Insignia, first produced in 1974.
