Homer obtained his first franchise for bus service between Escondido and Oceanside in 1945. Founded in 1941, Homer Heller and his wife Helen operated the dealership which started on a small corner on Grand Avenue. Homer Heller's second location at 400 West Grand avenue and Freeway 395 (now Center City Parkway) was two years in planning. The two-story concrete block structure of modernistic design featured expansive plate glass show windows and a special display window where the latest model revolved (1951-1983). Stop by and say hello to these fine people and see what being part of the Heller family really means! DJ Heller oru General Manager is the third generation of the Heller Family to lead our efforts at pleasing customers.
