Founded by Nick Haddow in 2003, Bruny Island Cheese Co. was started after Nick spent 10 years working with specialist cheese makers in many different countries around the world.

At Yarra Valley Dairy, situated in the rich landscape of the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia, we make original fine cheeses using only premium quality milk and ingredients. Established in 1994, our family-owned Dairy proudly created Australia’s first marinated fetta, introducing a cheese style that is still revered and widely emulated over 3 decades on. Our cheeses are primarily soft in style, reflecting the time-honoured, traditional farmhouse cheeses of Central Europe yet bolstered by the rich provenance of the Yarra Valley.
