HELIOFLOAT is a start up company founded by Prof. Dr. Markus Haider and Dr. Roland Eisl who intended to develop a fundamentally new light weight platform system for offshore applications. The research program of HELIOFLOAT was financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Family and Youth, and the Vienna University of Technology. While research and development started in 2010, the company HELIOFLOAT was established in 2014.
