OVERVIEW Helicopters, Inc. is a Part 91 commercial helicopter service. We are based at the General Dewitt Spain airport in Memphis (M01) but operate regionally and provide a variety of flight services. PIPELINE & POWERLINE SURVEY Helicopters, Inc. fulfills serveral long-term pipeline survey contracts, as well as doing on-call inspection work. Regular inspections of some types of underground pipelines are required by the Department of Transportation. This work requires us to fly over buried pipelines at regular intervals, looking for potential problems such as brown grass, which might indicate a leak, construction crews excavating over the pipeline, or stream-bed erosion. Helicopters Inc has considerable experience in pipeline/powerline inspection. AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO Helicopters, Inc. also provides services to a variety of photographers and videographers as well as capturing the images with our gyro stabilized cameras. With a high-resolution digital camera connected to a GPS receiver, we can photograph sites from the air, and then: Burn the images to a CD-ROM Produce hi-resolution prints on paper Post the images to the password-protected client area of our web site HELICOPTER PILOT INSTRUCTION We provide helicopter flight instruction, whether to fixed-wing pilots with no rotary-wing experience, ex-military pilots, or the occasional pilot-to-be.
