Helicon Brewing Information

A craft brewery in Oakdale, PA. The name comes from the first paragraph of the first page of the book The History of Oakdale Borough: "Although the official history of Oakdale began in 1892, the real history of the town began earlier than that. The land on which Oakdale is situated was originally part of a 400 acre tract of land which the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania granted to Judge Hugh Henry Brackenridge on April 11, 1778. In the original warrant, the name given to this land is called Mt. Helicon, a name from Greek mythology, the sacred home of the Muses." The logo is a Greek harp with a barley stem in the middle.
