Helensview High School Information

· Developing Curriculum & Teaching; Functional Living Skills, Academics, Oral Sensory, Sensory, Motor Skills, Social Skills and Physical Education. · Processing Students various forms of Data, creating and modifying Individual Educational Plans, modifying Personal Behavior Plans for Students all with Multiple, Severe, Mental, Social, Emotional, and Sexual Behaviors. · Adhering to board policies, administrative rules and procedures, department regulations and applicable State and Federal statutes. · The goal of the program is to integrate the Students into the community. Each Student currently requires a 1 – on – 1 Staff to Student Ratio. Intervention Plans range from deescalation to restraint. The restraints range from 2 – 1 to 5 – 1 Staff to Student Ratio. My classroom has the largest most behavioral kids in Multnomah County.
